'I believed my life was over': Gemma Collins thought she DIED during THAT Dancing On Ice fall as she reflects on her 'miracle' stint for Christmas special
Gemma Collins revealed she thought she died when she fell during her appearance on Dancing On Ice earlier in the year.
The TOWIE star, 38, made a dramatic return to the ITV competition series as she appeared on the show's Christmas special on Sunday evening to reflect on her 'miracle' stint, which saw her team up with pro skater Matt Evers.
Leaving hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield stunned, the GC popped out of a box in a bedazzled number before admitting she thought her 'life was over' when she tripped onto the rink - an accident which left her temporarily wheelchair-bound.

The media personality fought back tears as she fell to the ground in the final moments of her routine and was whisked off to physiotherapy in Week 4 of the series.
Nearly a year on from her embarrassing tumble, Gemma - who still managed to score 16.5 on the night - has admitted she believed her life flashed before her eyes.
The outspoken star recalled: 'I remember thinking, ''I'm nearly at the end, I haven't fallen yet, this is a miracle, maybe I'll stay in for one more week.''
'I got so excited, I just went too over the top with my movement, which you're not allowed to do in ice skating and my toe pick got caught – and bang.

'I thought I was dead. I literally thought I was dead.'
The Diva Forever personality said her partner Matt, 43, encouraged her to recover from her fall as she elaborated: 'And [pro partner] Matt was going: "Get up! Get up! Get up!"
'And then I just got up and I was just like: "Oh no, my life's over."'
Speaking on the aftermath, her on/off beau James 'Arg' Argent told The Sun at the time: 'Gemma’s black and blue all over.
'She's struggling to walk so I had to carry her to the car earlier, and she's been using [her mother] Joan's wheelchair on and off all day because she's in so much pain.'

Gemma was mostly surrounded by support from social media users, but some claimed she was faking it for publicity - a rumour Arg, 32, vehemently denied.
Despite the mishap, she was sent to the next round as Grease actress Didi Conn was eliminated with pro skater Łukasz Różycki.
The blonde became the fifth celebrity to be eliminated in Week 6 when she found herself in the bottom two with Ryan Sidebottom and Brandee Malto.
The TV star's appearance on the show was met with drama as she feuded with judge Jason Gardiner, who has since been replaced by former contestant John Barrowman.
