The food in the I'm a Celebrity camp secretly got a little extra seasoning from former campmate Cliff Parisi, though not in the most appetising way.

The EastEnders legend became the third celebrity evicted from the jungle during Monday's 90-minute ITV special (December 2), having lost a vote-off to Caitlyn Jenner.

Jokester Cliff definitely kept presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly on their toes during his exit interview, throwing in several quips as they tried to get to the bottom of his time in the jungle.

But the most unexpected moment came when Cliff admitted he'd snuck some food into the camp in the most unconventional way possible.

"I did sneak some stuff in in my pants – salt and pepper. I did," he chuckled.

The presenters were taken aback, with Dec admitting: "We never saw that. It's very sneaky."

The I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp presenters and guests were equally as surprised by the revelation, with co-host Joel Dommett pointing out that Rosemary Shrager was the only other campmate to sneak in food back in 2012.

Of Cliff's food smuggling, guest Bobby Mair complained: "That's disgusting. I would rather have no salt and pepper than Cliff's 'penis salt and pepper'."

Those watching were split on Cliff's confession, with some seeing the funny side and others having to choke down the vomit (just note the NSFW imagery and sweary language):

Cliff was full of gems in Monday's episode, having also forgot Andrew Maxwell's name even after living with him in close quarters for two weeks.

I'm a Celebrity airs nightly at 9pm on ITV, followed by I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp on ITV2.
