Piers Morgan, 54, has shared an article regarding Lily Allen’s comments about the General Election 2019 in view of his seven million Twitter followers. He wrote: “I think I speak for Britain when I say if @lilyallen doesn’t like it here, why doesn’t she f*ck off?”
Following the Conservative party’s win today, the singer took to her Instagram page to express her thoughts.
She shared a picture of a sad face emoji alongside the caption: “Some say it was Brexit, some day it was Jeremy [Corbyn].
“Personally, and I know no one wants to hear it, I think that racism and misogyny runs so so deep in this country and that Boris won because of his attitude towards those things and not in spite of them.”
Earlier this month on This Morning, Boris was quizzed about language he had used to describe muslim women who wear burqas in the past.

Ahead of this, Lily consistently urged her 5.5 million followers to vote for Labour.
In one tweet, she wrote: “Please please #VoteLabourToday, things won’t get better under Tory rule.”
Piers, a remainer, has also expressed his views in a series of tweets.
In response to one of his followers who queried why he was happy with the Election result, he replied: “I’m happy the only party that campaigned to honour the result of the EU Referendum won.
“And I say that as a Remainer. Democracy is the big winner tonight.”
The Good Morning Britain host has also hit back at social activist Michael Chessum’s views on Twitter.
The latter tweeted: “It is now almost certainly the case that the Tories (and Leave) have won an overall majority with a MINORITY of the public vote.
“This is not a moral mandate. Regard it with contempt. Resist - in the streets, on picket lines. Fight, and fight for your lives.”
Piers hit back, writing: “Go to bed, you silly little man.”
