Strictly unveils first look at couples in 2019 Christmas special - digitalspy.com

Strictly Come Dancing's latest series reaches its conclusion this weekend, but that won't be it for the ballroom this year.

The show's annual Christmas special will be airing on Christmas Day and we've just had our first look at all the couples taking part.

The show's official Twitter account shared a slideshow of the festive pairings today (December 11) and asked: "Don't our #Strictly Christmas couples look fab-yule-lous?"

This year's Christmas special will see 2017 last place contestant Holby City's Chizzy Akudolu partnered with Graziano Di Prima.

Also coming back from the 2017 series is runner-up Debbie McGee, who will be paired with Kevin Clifton.

Ex-Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson will also be back in the ballroom, this time dancing with her real-life partner Gorka Márquez after welcoming their first child into the world in July.

Another real-life couple appearing on the Christmas special is 2018 finalist Joe Sugg and girlfriend Dianne Buswell.

2012 contestant and Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold will be paired with pro with Luba Mushtuk.

And finally, 2014 contestant Mark Wright will be dancing into the festive season with Janette Manrara.

Meanwhile, Strictly has just announced the songs and dances for Saturday's (December 14) grand final which will see Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse battle Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden and Emma Barton and Anton du Beke for the trophy.

The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will air on BBC One at 4.40pm on Christmas Day. The 2019 grand final airs on Saturday (December 14) at 7.05pm on BBC One.
