The Body Coach star Joe Wicks approached by BBC AND Channel 4 to host live workout show... after 1 million tuned in to his home PE lessons amid COVID-19 lockdown
Both the BBC and Channel 4 have been on the phone to Joe Wicks since he started streaming live PE lessons for children via YouTube amid the COVID-19 crisis.
The Body Coach, as he is known to fans, is also said to be close to inking a deal with Channel 4 - after more than a million homes tuned in to the lessons, which the 33-year-old has pledged to undertake on a daily basis since schools were closed down on Friday across the UK.
A source has told The Sun: 'Channel 4 have worked with Joe previously and were straight onto him once they saw he was going to be hosting live workouts daily.

'His YouTube streams have been watched in their droves, so they have offered him a deal to host a daily show for them which would be aired to the nation to get kids, and adults, moving every morning.
'Nothing is signed yet but they are all hopeful something will work out.'
MailOnline has approached both channels for comment.
Joe used to host Joe Wicks: The Body Coach on Channel 4, which aired for two seasons in 2018.

Earlier this week, he spoke to the Mail's Jane Fryer, who trialled out his PE classes online with her children.
He said: 'I bothered Channel 4 for two years about doing a show and they kept saying, "We can't do it, Joe. We haven't got the budget".
'This week both Channel 4 and the BBC have been on the phone, asking, "What can we do together?"
Joe elaborated to Jane, however: 'It's about providing free content. It's about helping. It's about getting kids moving and feeling good and keeping your mental health up.

Of the classes, Jane reported: 'At the end, we feel happier, livelier and better equipped to take on yet another day in COVID-19 lockdown.
'So thank you, Joe Wicks. For being so good at your job. So public-spirited. So likeable and modest and emotional. And, more important, so very easy on the eye.'

Some mothers and fathers also took part in the class - and admitted it was good to get moving after spending so much time cooped up indoors.
Announcing the idea on Instagram last week, Joe said: 'Starting from Monday, every single day from Monday to Friday, I'm going to do a live workout called "PE with Joe" on my YouTube channel The Body Coach TV.
'It's a workout specifically designed for kids. Because when the schools closed, there is no PE. Don't worry, I've got you.
'I'm going to take this over. I'm going get your kids moving, fit and energised, positive and optimistic.'
He added: 'It's a 30-minute session for little kids right up to secondary school, get involved, have fun. We're going to be doing loads of basic exercises. You don't need a lot of room.'
Popular choice! Joe revealed that 806,000 families joined in with the first workout
The classes have already rounded up fans from the celebrity world.
Coleen Rooney revealed how she was keeping her little ones amused as she shared a sweet video to Instagram on Monday as her sons got their daily exercise as they took part in Joe's lesson.
Coleen shared a video of the boys copying the moves, with Kai, 10, Klay, six, Kit, four, and Cass, two, bounding around the living room.
Loose Women's Saira Kahn also took to Instagram on Tuesday, with her son and daughter looking energised from the work-out.
