The BBC has condemned comments from Apprentice star Lottie Lion.
Lottie is reported to have told fellow 2019 candidate Lubna Farhan to "shut up, Ghandi" in a WhatsApp group chat.
The BBC has since addressed the incident, stating that Lottie has been told her comments were "wholly unacceptable".

A BBC spokesperson said: "While this happened on a private messenger service once filming had concluded, the BBC nevertheless still expects the candidates to behave appropriately.
"The production company have looked into the issue and reported back, Lottie has been informed that her comments were wholly unacceptable and is in no doubt about our view on this."
Lottie previously told PA: "My use of the word Gandhi was misinterpreted, it was as candidates in the group chat had been quoting Gandhi previously."
She added: "The comments were taken out of context, and I ask the public not to make judgment without knowing the full context. At the moment, I would like my focus to be on the show, and I'm not interested in negative media attention."

This comes after fellow fired candidate Souleyman Bah spoke about receiving racial abuse during his time on the show.
Speaking on Apprentice winner Sian Gabbidon's podcast The Wake Up Call, he said: "I think there were comments that, you know, yeah… I won't get into the details of it, but I think it was definitely what it was.
"I will counter that by saying it was ignorance, really. It's definitely ignorant racism. I think there's blatant racism and then there's ignorant racism."
The Apprentice airs on Wednesdays at 9pm on BBC One. Spin-off show The Apprentice: You're Fired airs on Wednesdays at 10pm on BBC Two.
