Ed Sheeran has claimed Adele's former title as Britain's wealthiest star aged 30 and under.

The 28-year-old is worth an estimated £170 million, after nearly doubling his worth over the last year.

The Shape Of You singer replaced Adele in the top spot, as the 31-year-old Skyfall songstress's age means she is no longer eligible to appear on Heat magazine's annual list.

Suffolk-dwelling Sheeran has been working hard to bring in the cash, playing his record breaking Divide Tour to more than seven million fans across more than 250 shows since March 2017.

He's also written songs for other artists including Justin Bieber, Anne-Marie and Rita Ora, with the inevitable royalties rolling in.

The young musician also made it onto the Sunday Times Rich List 2019 earlier this year.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe took second place on Heat's list with an estimated wealth of £90 million.

The 30-year-old has the boy wizard to thank for his impressive ranking.

One Direction star Harry Styles came in at number three with an estimated fortune of £64 million.

The 25-year-old's solo-career helped him beat his former band mates Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn - who took fifth, seventh, eighth and tenth place respectively.

Girl group Little Mix, actress Emma Watson and model Cara Delevingne also made an appearance on the list.

Grime artist Stormzy was the highest new entry at number 14, following a game changing year after headlining at Glastonbury.

The 26-year-old from Croydon is reportedly worth £12 million.

Other new entries include pop star Dua Lipa, Game Of Thrones actress Maisie Williams and singer George Ezra.

Reality star Kylie Jenner, who is 22, has been named the world's wealthiest young star under the age of 30, with £736 million to her name.
