Adding height to her frame with a pair of open-toed heels, Helena also sported black tights and a large black ribbon in her hair.
Styling her brunette locks into an updo, the film star completed her look with a printed handbag and black sheer fabric wrapped around her wrists.
Rye looked dapper for the occasion, sporting a black blazer and trousers with a matching bow tie and a crisp white shirt.

Helena, who won the British Icon award at the bash, was joined at the star-studded event by the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Cressida Bonas and Alexa Chung.
Her outing comes after Helena revealed how she approached Princess Margaret's inside circle for help in understanding the royal's character, as she prepared for her role in drama The Crown.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: 'They loved the woman and were very happy to talk about her because they miss her.'

Speaking of what she learned about her character, Helena continued: 'She just couldn't feign, which is an appalling lack when you are famous and you have to meet all these people.
'Whatever was in her head popped out of her mouth. She was like a time bomb'.
Helena recently recalled meeting Princess Margaret, explaining that her uncle, Liberal MP Mark Bonham Carter was close to the royal.

'She was pretty scary,' admitted the actress. 'At one point, she met me at Windsor Castle and she said, "You are getting better, aren’t you?”', presumably referring to her acting skills.
Helena is taking over the role of Princess Margaret for series three and four of Netflix hit The Crown, after Vanessa Kirby's acclaimed portrayal for the first two series.
As the drama moves through 1964 to 1978, Ben Daniels takes over from Matthew Goode in the role of Margaret's husband Antony Armstrong-Jones.

The show's creator Morgan has moved on from the marital drama between the show's leads Queen Elizabeth, played by Olivia Colman in the third series who follows Claire Foy, and Tobias Menzies' Prince Philip, who was previously played by Matt Smith.
Instead, the new episodes will follow the unravelling of Margaret's tumultuous relationship.
Helena, Olivia, Ben and Tobias will star in the third and fourth series of The Crown, which hits screens on 17 November, joined by an older Prince Charles played by Bafta nominee Josh O’Connor and Emerald Fennell as Camilla.
