After finding out what happened between him and Bethany, the pair have infuriated many resident’s on the street, leaving people on the warpath for the guilt-ridden Platt girl.
While popping to the corner shop, Daniel is horrified to find Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) tormenting Bethany and he rushes to her defence.
Beth hears about it and the pair’s connection only fuels her hatred for Daniel.
She later stumbles on Bethany comforting him after he breaks down and with emotions running high, she accuses them of having an affair.
