PANICKED Strictly Come Dancing producers have instructed contestants to contact ex-partners over fears about explicit leaked pictures and videos.
Celebrities including Cath Tyldesley and David James were last week briefed about the dangers of intimate or embarrassing footage emerging online.
It comes after we revealed an X Rated video of former Emmerdale hunk Kelvin Fletcher flashing his manhood had been doing the rounds on WhatsApp.
A source said: “Obviously everyone has a history, and many of the celebs have probably done things in the past that they wouldn’t necessarily do now.
“’Sexting’ - the sending of saucy pics - is obviously a big deal right now, and very prevalent.
"But all it takes is for a private photo or video to be sent on to someone else, and the next thing you know, the photo is circulating and being leaked online.
“Duty of care is foremost in production’s minds, so one of the things execs have told contestants is to safeguard themselves against anything potentially embarrassing.
“Friends, partners and ex’s have all been asked for their discretion, and the hope is nothing else mortifying will emerge this series.”
News of beeb bosses’ warning comes after we detailed how a 29 second clip of Kelvin, 35, was spread on WhatsApp, showing him stripped naked and cavorting in a changing room.
And a series of personal pic of Saffron Barker which are believed to have been taken from her iCloud, were being shared on the internet.
The photos appeared on a New Zealand-registered site as well as in the UK.
They show Saffron, who has 2.2 million subscribers, in skimpy poses including while on holiday and in front of a mirror at home.
Corrie actress Cath has also previously been victim to hackers.
